My Omarchy setup
My current Omarchy hardware, plus the gear I stopped using and why.
The hardware I use with Omarchy, plus the things I've tried and moved on from.
What I'm using
- Dell XPS 14 (DA14260) — my primary Omarchy laptop, with an Intel Core Ultra X7 358H, 32 GB LPDDR5x RAM, a 1 TB NVMe SSD (Samsung PM9C1b), and a 14-inch 2.8K OLED touchscreen (2880 × 1800) running at 120 Hz.
- Kuycon G32P — my external display, running at 6K and 60 Hz.
- CalDigit TS4 — my current dock. It's been working well after switching from the TS5 Plus.
- OBSBOT Meet 2 — my current webcam.
- Elgato Wave XLR — my microphone and headphone interface.
- Elgato Stream Deck Pedal — foot controls for workspaces and dictation.
- Lofree Flow 84 — my keyboard.
- Logitech MX Vertical — my mouse.
What I've stopped using
- CalDigit TS5 Plus — caused hardware instability in my setup, including recurring USB, audio and camera problems. I replaced it with the TS4.
- YoloCam S3 — took roughly 2.5–4 seconds to show its first image in my tests. The delay occurred before the first USB video transfer completed, pointing to camera startup or wake-up rather than app processing, though the exact cause remains unproven. Firmware 1.0.4 didn't resolve it. I switched to the OBSBOT Meet 2.
